I’m a creative writing scholar and published author with extensive experience in fiction, microfiction, and literary pedagogy, with a proven record of publication in nationally recognized literary journals and active engagement in academic presentations, workshops, and teaching-focused scholarship.

I’ve studied writing at Purdue University and the University of Houston. My fiction has appeared in Quarterly West, Western Humanities Review, The Citron Review, Vestal Review, 100 Word Story, Wigleaf, and elsewhere. It has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize twice, Best Microfiction three times, and won an Associated Writing Programs Intro Award for Short Stories.
